FIRE IN HAY STREET.
A fire bloke out at 1 o'clock tin's morning in a four-roomed housoi in Hay Street, the building being, completely gutted. The house was owned by Mr. Gavin Colvin, and at tho'time, of the 1 outbreak was untenaiited, tho occupants—a family named Possineskio— had left for Sydney ■on tho previous day. The brigado wero soon on tho scene, and though it was too Into "to savo tho house they prevented the flames from spreading to the adjoining residence in which Mr. Colvin lives. Tho house- was insured in thoAllianco Offico for £100.
