Madame "Wiolaert (soprano),.of Auckland, and Miss Brcndn Stock (contralto), Mr. E. J., Hill (tenor), and Mr.'John l'rouso (baritone), all of 'Wellington, have been engaged as principal soloists for tho Wellington Choral Society's performance of Handel's Christmas Oratorio, "Tho Messiah," to take, place at iho Town Hall on December 16 next. As on a previous occasion, the society will dispense- with the orchestra, and utilise tho magnificent resources of the wand onrau.
