Association, asking for a date for . a representative match- Auckland v. Wellington. The mat-' ter will be considered at the next meeting of the Wellington Wednesday Association. It . may also be mentioned that two teams representing the Canterbury Thursday Association will play ,at Wellington' on January 23 and 24. PALMERSTON MATCHES. The Wednesday championship matches were continued at Palinerston this week in beautiful 'weather, and on good wickets. Tho ,city eleven beat the Manaivatu Club team, and .Phoenix beat High' School.'
