As the choir, enjoys a reputation for good singing, a fine programme. is proniised to patrons. Miss Agnes M;-Segrief will, sing Niedermeyer's;' Pater Noster," and Mr. D. .Henderson Gounod's,,"There is;a' Green Hill!" In the second .'.part the choir-will render J. Frederick .Bridge's cantata, "Stabat Mater Spcciosa" ■ (the cradle of Christ), the soloists being "Miss Rosie Segrief and Mr.\E. 8.,1. Reade. Tho cantata is: a beautiful 1 iIIJo ■ work, Mr. Spencer Lorraine's pupils' concert takes place to-night in tho Concert Chamber of the Town Hall: The programme, it is stated, is.,a splendid one, and rumour, has it that some of the pupils will give more than a good account of themselves and tlicir teacher.
