' ' Ethel Harris disappeared early last March, just beforo Alfred SmaTt, with whom' she lived for six years,' married .another woman. Smart is in custody on a charge of bigamy. He asserted that Harris went away a week • before his marriage on March 15 to Mary Pemberthy. "
