The Dominion Parliament was opened to-day by the Governor-General, Earl Grey. . The Speech from the Throuo forecasted legislation—none of the measures being of great importance—that would bo brought down during the session. It was stated that a Bank Act was needed, as charters would lapse in Juno next. Reference was made to tho reciprocity negotiations with the United States. (Bee. November 19, 0.35 a.m.) Ottawa, November 18. The Speech from tho Throne foreshadowed Bills for the construction of a railway to Hudson's Bay, and revision of tho copyright laws. It also expressed tho hope that reciprocity would soon be achieved. The debato on the Address-in-Reply will open on Monday. CRAIN ROUTE, DISGUSTED FARMERS. Ottawa, November 17. Disgusted at tho apathy o£' the Dominion. Government, the fanners of the prairie provinces aro organising a fund to builcl a railway to Hudson's Bay, as the need for a grain route is imperative.
