LICENSING LAW.
' ADDRESS BY MR, T. E. TAYLOR. ■ Interring commentary on tho exist-, ing position of licensing legislation will bo heard on Monday evening, when Mr. T. ID. Taylor, M.P., is to deliver • an address on the new Licensing Bill, in tho Concert. Chamber of the Town Hall. The Rov. A. Dewdney, chairman, of tho Now Zealand Allianco Executive, will presido. Although the new Bill is now Jaw, tho question of licensing reform is not to bo allowed to drop out of sight so far as the New Zealand Allianco is concerned. A criticism of tho Bill by so prominent an advocate of licensing reform as Mr. Taylor should provo interesting. From attendant circumstances it_ is fair to assume that his address will bo in effect an official pronouncement by the alliance.
