The sixth and closing series, of Lbndon wool sales for 1910 will begin on Tuesday, and according to' a cable me=6ago received by Messrs. Dalgety .and Co., Ltd., the new arrivals, the quantity forwarded direct to manufacturers, and the quantity availablo for the sales compare with the figures of last year as under:— . ■ • Nov.. 1909. The Bradford Top market lias been rather weak recently, especially for'fine wools, and it seems likely that this class will register lower prices. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company has, been advised that the following fixtures have been made for 1911:—First series to. commence January 17, no limit of quantity. Second series to commence March 14,,n0 limit of quantitv. Third series, 'to commence May 9.- Fourth series, to commence July 11. Fifth series to commence September J6. Sixth series, to commence - November 28. Tho list of fresh arrivals,' as usual, will bo closed 8 days prior to the opening date of each' ceries; unless the "limit" bo previously reached. Bidding was in consequence less spirited, and a number of large lots' were passed in. -These, however, were gold subsequently, i- and the whole catalogue was disposed of.
