THE LAMBTON LEASES.
The following business will be considered at a special meeting ot the City Council to bo held on lhursdaj evening-.— . . "(1) To accept surrender of the. leaso of Section 119, ■ Lambton Reclamation, granted to the Bank of New ZealaiHi, and to lease tho land comprised in it to the Australian Temperance and General Mutual Life Assurance Society, Limited, in which the residue now to come and unespirod of Hie term of years created by tho said lease is vested at a yearly ' rant of .£122 10s. . , , "(2)To accept a surrender of the lease made between the City of Wellington of tho first part, his Excellency Sir J ames Ferguson Boweu of .flic second part, and Ebenczcr Henry Emit of the third part, whereby tho land commonly known ae Section 122, Lambton Reclamation. City of Wellington, became vested in tho said Ebenezer Henry Hunt for the term of 42 years from' January._ 1, 1872; and to ' lease the said land to John Ma, Bmi- ! janiin Puller, and John Fuller tho ' younger, in whom tho residue of tho ! said term is now vested at the yearly : rental of £112 10s."
