PETONE RIFLE CLUB. The Petano Bide Club completed the com* petition for its first aggregate and Pearson Cup. Rifleman W. J. M'llvride inada the fine score of 100, getting the possible at 500 yards, for which ho wins an ammunition prise. In the aggregate DeputyPresident J. M'Lachlan and Hifleman W. J. M'llvride tied with 292. In the shoot-off Deputy-President M'Lachlan' won'.'by one" point. According to the conditions of the Pearson Cup, if Deputy-President M'Lachlan r.ow wins the championship, the cup goes to Eiflemar. M'llvride.
