TARGETS REPEATEDLY HIT,
NEW FACTOR IN NAVAL WARFARE.

Mr. Hubert Latham, with a revolver, made two hits out of four shots' on a small ground target. At bomb-throwing, Mr. Latham repeatedly hit a target shaped like a ship. Ho dropped the bombs from a height of 1100 feet. Mr. Drexel dropped six bombs successfully. • Tho efficiency of aeroplane bomb-drop-ping is held to have been fully proved. GERMAN LAWS OP THE AIR. Berlin, November 11. The German Government is regulating aerial flights by airmen. If they approach within six miles of fortifications they will be regarded as spies. BELGIAN AVIATOR KILLED. Brussels, November 11. M.' Peeters, a Belgian aviator, while flying at Monseron, was killed. RACEHORSE v. AEROPLANE. A SPEED TEST. (Reo. November 13, 5.5 p.m.) New York, November 12. The aviator Mars, at Norfolk, Virginia, defeated a racehorse over a mile. A NEW ZEALAND AVIATOR. COMING TO AUSTRALASIA. (Rec. November 13, 5.5 p.m.) London, November 12. ' Hammond, a, New Zealander, is proceeding to Australia with two British biplanes. Ho will give flights in Australasia.
