"ORGY OF NAKED ANARCHY."

MEN COMPLETELY OUT OF HAND. ATTACKS ON POWER-HOUSES. (Rec. November 9, 11.50 p.m.) '. ' London, November 9. "The Times's" .Ton-y-Pandy correspondent states that, despite the stipendiary magistrate's assurances from the mana-. gers that no imported labour would be employed, the mob attacked the Llwynpia power-house with -a desperate determination to flood the imine. The rioters were armed with sticks and pieces of wooden palings and stones. The police- were resolutely charging them. . - It was only fair to say that the men's leaders showed in the afternoon every sign of reasonableness and a desire for peace, but the rioters at night got completely out of hand, and the disorder degenerated into an orgy of naked anarchy. The absence of troops was severely felt. Paling fences were destroyed and placed on tho roads to. obstruct the mounted men by a mob of 1000 rioters. Twenty of the police constables were medically treated, and there are 60 injured. There was a similarly desperate attack on the Middle Duffryn colliery powerhouse. Numbers of persons were trampled on, and two correspondents were injured by stones, one being rendered unconscious.
