Mr. Tobin, K.C., tlio lawyer who defended Hawley Crippen, condemned to death for tho murder of his wife at Camden, has received from Philadelphia a report to the effect that Belle Elmore (Mrs. Crippen) is alive, and living near Chicago. THE EXECUTION. London, November 7. Tho date of the execution of Crippen has been fixed for November-23. PETITION FOR REPRIEVE. London, November 7. A petition is being' prepared for the reprieve of Crippen on the ground that there is grave doubt as to his guilt.
