Mrs. Gow, wife of the licensee of the Royal Hyde Park Hotel, and formorly a resident of New Zealand, is taking steps to confirm cablo advices that sho is the.legatee of the estate of Patrick Maguire, who recently died in America leaving property valued at seven million dollars (£1,400,000). Mrs. Gow is the wife of Mr. A. M. Gow, who is well, known in Now, Zealand, and was for many years licensee of the Central Hotel in Wellington, and afterwards of Barrett's Hotel, Wellington. Prior to coming to. Wellington Mr. and Mrs. Gow resided in Dunedin. Mrs. Gow was formerly Mrs. Laverty.
