BAND'S HOME-COMING.

Remarkable enthusiasm marked . the reception given to the Wanganui Garrison Band on their, arrival home from BaUarat this evening. Despite the rain a huge crowd gathered at the railway station, where .the appearance of the men, who with difficulty mado their way through the crowd, was the signal for tumultuous cheering. The band was escorted by'the Territorial Cadets, and the Fire Brigade, City and Salvation Army Bands to the Drill Hall, where a few brief congratulatory speeches were madoo.The band will bo entertained at a public garden party on the racecourse on Thursday.
