ROMANCE OF FORTUNE.

According to the "Prager p'agblatt,'' the wife of a Jewish pedlar named Neumann, at Prague, has been recognised as one of the heirs of a fortune amounting to" £7,200,000 left by the American "Beer King," Alfred Lonsdale, who died eighteen months ago of apoplexy at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel, New York. ■ Lonsdale, whoso real name ,was Isaac Glotzenstein, was born at Kalish, in Russian Poland, deserted as a young man from the Russian Army, made his way to London, opened a beer house, speculated successfully in brewery shares,_ transferred his operations to Ne.v York, and died possessed of the above mentioned fortune , A brother, two nephews, and the sister at Prague wore traced through an ndvertisorornt in Jewish journals, and are now, with the help of a syndicate, formed in Berlin, r Warsaw, and Vienna, engaged in making good their claim to the inheritance.
