MISSION OF HELP.

' ALL SAINTS', KILBIKNIE. Tho Anglican Mission of Help opened on Saturday evening at Kilbirnie with tho' reception of the missioners, the church being well filled. The Kev. M. \y. Kinloch gave a very helpful address, the Eev. A. T. B. Page, of Greytown,' reading the lesson. The services on Sunday began with an 8 o'clock celebration of Holy Communion, at which there was a large number of. communicants. The morning service at Kilbirnie was taken by the Eev. A. T. B. Page, the Eev. JI. Kinloch taking a Communion service at Worser Bay. A children's service in the aftorjio6n was held by Mr. Kinloch, who was particularly happy in his methods of dealing with the young people. From this service the missioners proceeded, to the sands at Lyall Bay, a party of children accompanied by their teachers going with thorn. ■ On tho sands tho Rev. Ur. Kinloch,-Mr. Walton, of St.■ Peter's, and the vicar addressed a goodly gathering, the singing being accompanied by an organ at tho band rotunda, which served as a platform. The 7 o'clock service at All Saint's, Kilbirnie, was crowded, extra seating accommodation having to be provided. The subject (dealt with in an earnest and able address) was that of "Conversion," which Mr. Kinloch said meant a turning from self to God, from sin to righteousness, the responsibility for which lay with each individual soul. There was great apparent earnestness on, the part of. the congregation, only a very few retiring before the after service. • The Eev. A. Page conducted a mission service at lliramar in the evening. During tho week tho mission will continue at Kilbirnie, ■ Miramar, and Worser Bay. A children's service will be held each day at Kilbirnie at 4.30 Ji.m., and a servico on the sands at jyall'Bay on AVcdnesdny afternoon at ■3.50 p.m. The Hev. A. L. Hansel!, of Karori, will assist with the mission during the week. t .
