Glancing down the schedule one is inclined to say that the Wy.K.C. deserves to have* their• benches 1 -packed, for they have provided a liberal bill of fare, totalling.:up .'in;.ordinary and special prizes to nearly £500. Among the valuable specials offered- is a sterling silver* challenge cup given by the E.-W. Hunt to the huntsman who. gains the most points in" the harrier division. Hounds last year were admitted to be a particularly .fine class, and'this year Mr. Bond expects to see this handsome trophy keenly competed for'. The Wanganui licensed victuallers offer two handsome trophies,, value £7 7s. each, to be won outright, for the best cocker spaniel and Borzois, in the show. The Irish Terrier Club give two trophies, value £4 45., for the best Irish terrier dog and bitch in the show. The New Zealand Setter.
