POLICE TO USE CARBINES. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Ree. November 1, 9.10 p.m.) Berlin, November 1. Patrols, each thirty strong, and armed with carbines, have boon stationed in tho disturbed districts of tho city. Tho police announco that if the rioting is renewed, and sabres prove unavailing, the patrols are to lio down and overy third man is to fire into the legs of the mob. If the rioters still do not lleo the remainder of the patrols is to fire. ■
A special edition of tho Socialist newspaper "Vorwaerts" has been distributed in the disturbed districts. It urges tho workmen and workmen's wives not to partake in the rioting or go into tho streets out of curiosity^
