AMTOAIi CATTLE FAIR. Messrs. Abraham and Williams. Ltd. (Palmereton branch);- report:—At our annual cattle fair at Palmerston North on Tuesday close on 3000 head were yarded. Competition lor srown bullocks was particularly keen, and every pen was sold. Bidding for several pens of the .rougher sorts of young cattle lagged slightly, but any line that passed soon found buyers, and, at the end of the day, only 200 head of the total yarding went out unsold.
