SUNDAY SCHOOL WORK.

The celebration of the GGth anniversary of the Sunday School connected with tho Terrace Congregational Church was begun with special services last. Sunday, and completed with a well-attended tea and. public meeting last evening. The pastor (Rev. J. Hoed Glasson) presided at the meeting. The superintendent (Mr. Meadowcroft) read his-annual'report in which lie stated that the roll number tit the beginning of, the year was 92, and at the end 90, and the average attendance, was 70. There 'were how 14 teachers,. with an ■ average .attendance of 12. The outstanding featuro of the year's work was the formation of. the two senior classes into Bible classes,. with their ' own - subjects, and speakers from outside the denominv'l'he,..officers for 1910-11' were: Superintendent and treasurer, Ml'. I l '. ' Meadowcroft; secretary, Mr. A. R. Lanlcshear; librarian, Mr. B. Fcmiiiet; organist, Miss . Best; musical conductor, ill'. .AY. J. Lankshear; school visitor, Miss JSvans. Seven scholars entered for tho Sunday School Union examinations and live gained prizes or certificates. There was no special coaching for the examination. The sum of -ClO 2s. Id. had been raised for missionary work. Dm'ing tho meeting addresses. were given by the, liev. 31. Bawden Harris (Aliceto'.vu), the Rev. .Macdonald Asplaud, the Rev.- AA'. A. Evans, and the Rev. A. Hodge (Masterton). Special hymns wevo sung by the children under the couductorship of Mr. AV. J. Lanksheni', and with the aid of an orchestra which included members of several other churches... Mr. Hunt was at tho organ, ~!. The prizes., w'b'n by Sunday School scholars for attendance, written answers to questions, good conduct, and repetition of ' versos ' were ; fpi'eSented by the chairman.
