THE SECOND BALLOTS. By Telosraph—Press Association—Oopyrisht. (Rec. November 1, 1.15 a.m.) Sydney, October 81 The second ballots in the Durham, and Hastings, and Macleay electorates took place to-day. For the former Mr. Brown (Liberal) is leading, and for the Hastings and Macleay seat Mr. H. D. Morton (Independent Liberal) is in front. The Independents have the Labour support.
