Alfred Adams and Charles lhilpott were charged with being occupiers and keepers ■of a common gaming' house, and Ueqrgc Keren was charged, witl\ having assisted in; conducting a common gaming house. On. behalf of all, defendants, Jlr. .Cotter entered a , pica of guilty, explaining oil behalf of . Koven tliat lie was merely a clerk, and had no share ill the profits. Kevon was . fined £20. In the case of the other two defendants, his Worship could discover no mitigating circumstances, and imposed upon'each of them a fine of £100. ■ ■ with costs.
