Mrs. Maxy Grconfield lias given the British Museum an important papyrus— namely, a magnificent copy of the Tlioban "Book of tho Dead," logolhor with in-. vocations, addresses, and hymns to Amen-Ra. Tho papyrus is the longest in the world except that in llio British Musouin presented by Professor J. A. Randal, M.A., the well-known collector of MSS. in tho East.
