Palmerston, October 21. • It is expected that the new''factory for the Bunnythorpe Dairy Company,,will be ready for occupation"*in about .a fortnight's time. The new structure has been ( erected in brick on the latest plans; and ' will be fitted with up-to-date machinery. The. arrangements will be designed in every detail with great regard to" convenience and efficiency, and. will enable the staff to deal with the milk supply much more expeditiously than in the old factory. The output of the factory is gradually increasing, and what is of still more importance the quality is well maintained. ' ■ The Naval and Military Tournament Committee met on Saturday night, and transacted a quantity of routine business. Gratifying reports are . being . received from all parts of tho Dominion regarding the support which- the coming tournament will receive. • The Baptist Church Sunday School held its anniversary services yesterday, when all services were largely attended. . The Rev. G; Frost, . of Sanson, was the preacher, and special music was rendered by the choir. The anniversary will be further celebrated on Wednesday evening. ■ when a long list of prizes will bo presented, including, those won in the annua) examinations of the Wellington Sundaj School Union. The new hotel at Bunnythorpe (replac- : ing one which was .some time ago de- ' stroked by fire) is. fast approaching completion,. and, in a few weeks, will be ready for' occupation.
