Anxiety is felt in France respecting Spain's rumoured demand for an indemnity of i,' 0,400,000 from Morocco, with a view to establishing a financial obligation on tho part of Morocco which would enable Spain to securo favourable treatment with regard to future economic and industrial concessions. The Moroccan proposal—that tho Customs service at Riff should defray the cost of tho indemnity—is regarded unfavourably in Madrid. ■
