There was • a large audience, and :the band, under Conductor Conway, acquitted .itself 'well. -.; ~ {■-. The cantata, "David, the Shepherd Boy," was produced at .the Cuba Street Methodist: Church , last;, night by jthe choir, assisted - by' a number of vocalists. :.\The''.'cantata'.' was .-excellently rendered.
