CONDITIONS FOR SHIELDS . MATCHES.;;■. Three'rifle matches for senior, junior, and third-class teams are to be fired on October 29, November 26, ■■' and' a date to be arranged. All matches are to. count.for the... shields. For:each match points ,are to be. allotted as follow :—First three points;. second, two points; third, one point. Teams are to consist fofVten. men, all to count, but only men. on. the active list, to fire. Each' team' mil be allotted the exclusive use of two targets, and-ranges are 200,. 500, .'and 600! yards, seven shots and one optional, sighter at each.. The time, allowed iof. each distance' is as fpllows:—2oo. yards, 3.5, minutes; 500 yards, -40 minutes; '600 yards, 45 minutes, Any shot or shots unfired at the expiration.
