Sir,—Ropeated requests liave been made on. account of those men who fought in the Maori War-, for some pension, so as to enable the fow survivors to: elco out an .existence, in lien of an old age pension. And yet, eo it is. The rich and tho poor 'travel' tilong side by side, aloni* life's journey, each-seeking a goal. Well, sir, are thei'o no members ill Parliament, or in tho Ministry, who will bring tins matter uo in tho House beforo tho cession closes", so that tho poor and necessitous cast-off soldier. may liavo his voico of pleading heard, before ho passes away from off the face of trio earth.
