Hie' monthly meeting of. the Kairanga County Council' was held at Falmerston this week.' Present: .Councillors\Voss (chairman), Wilsher, ..Collis, O'Louglilin, Bryant, Anderson, Moody," and Batchelar. Permission was granted the road employees to start work at 7.30 a.m. durins the 6ummer months, so ■ that they ;could have Saturday afternoon- off. A -reguest for. the cost.of Tepairs to Wcycles used by workmen .was not acceded to. Cotton for carting 300 'yards of metal was left /to,.tho.inspector, and Councillor Wilsher• to settle... ... . - Councillors Moody'and Batchelar;and the .inspector were appointed;to inspect a dangerous corner on the Linton, Road below the' Kahuterawa' stream, : to. w.uich. attention had been called Hy Mr. Hufli Akers.
