1 SHOULD BRANDS BE COMPULSOBY? , ' (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) ~ Auckland, Ootober IV The whether New Zealand manufactured goods should be branded "Mad© in New Zealand" was discussed at a meeting of the committee of the Auckland Industrial Association this afternoon, when a number of letters giving the views of people engaged in various industries were received. \ The president (Mr. B. Buttle) said the Now Zealand woollen industry, which had been built up on the basis of all' wool, would be very well suited by the proposal to brand goods "Made in New - Zealand." Some of the goods turned out by the Now Zealand mills, however, consisted of a mixture of wool and cotton. Mr. H. Dearsloy remarked upon tha prejudice against tome New Zealand - ; grade goods, boots and shoos boing es- ( . ". peoially referred to.
