Eiddell, S.M., concerning the death' of the little boy George William Ivory, who' was run. over .by his father's dray in Adelaide Road on Thursday evening! '. ;. Evidence was' given': to the effect that, when- the little boy came to meet his. father, he was picked up, and; sat in the middle of the dray, his" father 'sitting on the left hand side of the front of; the .dray. There .was no board on the. front or back; of the vehicle,-and the road was rough. The dray gave a jolt, and, before the father could- reach. ■Bis-" son, the little .f fell forward,' and was throwniunder the.right wheel. Dr. Cameron'was. summoned at once, and found - the : boy dead. "■■ There were injuries. to ike skull,.chest; arid'shoulder that would have caused death in a few minutes.. ■:Death. was.'duo to: shock arising from' ; the' injuries mentioned....
