THE DUPLICATION TROUBLE. Undaunted by the criticism which was directed upon their .labours a fortnight ago, the-By-laws. Committee, of the.City Council has plodded away at its task of eliminating duplications in tho names of . the : streets.' At' last night's council meeting, the committee reported that they had reconsidered the suggestions that Were'-not .adopted by the council at its last meeting. They submitted a fresh series', of recommendations, which, after discussion in, the council, a number of amendments being moved, were adopted in the following form :—
