Allegations Committee set up to inquire into the charges made by Mr. Hine, M.P., against certain. memjbers and ex-members of Parliament (so : far not named by him) met yesterday, but as no evidence was taken, press representatives were not admitted. .It was subsequently announced that Mr. J. A. Hanan had been appointed chairman. [The Conimitteo sat tor' forty minutes. Mr. Hino was' not present. He will probably be represented during the taking of evidenco by Mr: M. Myers, of. the firm of Bell, Gully, Bell, and Myers. The Committee adjourned till 10.30 a.m. on Wednesday nest. It is stated that'some interesting and important evidence will be given. The proceedings are. likely to last for nearly a month.-
