At the first meeting of newly-elected Town - Board -Commissioners- :of- the Upper lluci Town Board this week there was l a full attendance. Mr. Job Harrison, who was chairman during the preceding five months, was • re-elected to that position. In regard to a claim by Mr. Jacob •Geange a sub-committee was appointed to interview Mr. Geange, without prejudice, with , a view to an'amicable settlement. ! Regarding a- letter from tbo Inspector General of Hospitals it was resolved that the matter he reported on at next meeting;: by a snb'-conimittee •. consisting of the chairman and Mr. Webb. - . An application from Mr; James Kearney that certain trees, should be lopped w<! s'acceded to. It was 'revived to notifyi owners of wandering stock .that -legal proceedings would-be takeir for any violation of tile by-law after the' parties rhad: been- noti-: fied of the. boards, . Complaints of misuse of sanitary, service by "householders/were referred vto the Sanitation and Public.
