I Therf was a' good attendance at .the Missions, to Seamen Institute last evening, wfien tlie weekly' ambulance, meeting, was .held., .Mr.; James, .SloQre; 1 the. gave several demonstratioris showing the methods . of-' - .bandaging wounds, cuts, and sprains, and also spbke. of various l other -branches •of ambulance work. Ho. gave: several .us©-' ful hints in-connection', with healthmatters., A competition relating to first aid was won by sailors -from ships in jiort. A delightful programme of music was provided by. Mr. Paul, the following , contributing - items i—Miss Ita-sli, and Messrs. Paul, ■ Monro, and Holmes. Miss Rash played ;the accompaniments. ,' The ,' performers were accorded a hearty vote of thanks 'at' the conclusion of the meeting. .
