AN INCIDENT IN PARLIAMENT. The anxiety of Mr. Ell in the House of- Representatives last night to" refato certain thrusts at the Prime Minister by Mr. Massoy prompted him to interject, with /great persistence, during the Leader of the Opposition's- speech.:! So, persistent;and. noisy was Mr. .Ell thathe; failed tohear -the. call to order of Mr. - Speaker. :■ "I 'ddn'.t' know ' whether the; h'on.;.. .member; for Christchurch South heard me or not," remarked tho Speaker severely,"but this is the third time;l haveiiad to call him to order. If I have to : do it'again-1 will be com-pelled-to-name him." Which, in Parliamentary circles, is a very diro threat indeed. , ' ,
