'Inspector-General wrote-that the Minister had approved of.' tho of. a grant of £187 on . the-purchase, of /mechanical! con-, trivances for tho Technical School. Tlio rector . reported the roll number : as 109 boys and 70 girls, and added that, if the numbers continued to. increase! at the present irate, it would be necessary, to have another.teacher next year. The director : of the Technical School reported; !that tho weekly attendances .during-last term were a- record, in,thehistory of the school, having, reached a .total of. 787. "Examinations ■' .were being-.conducted this month.<for., seiiior free, places.: .The chairman stated that Mr. do J. C'lero (architect to, the new High.
