On Tuesday evening a number gathered to witness Wells in a.threeround bout-with Tracy;(local-light-weight champion), and were' treated to.a fast and clever exhibition. Immediately afterwards Wells boxed three rounds with: Porter (amateur champion),' and demonstrated his 'fight to-'be termed one of. the cleverest: of his-class, seen here, in recent .years, v His' hitting and foot-work was much admired.
