A petition from the whole of the suppliers of tho Carnarvon creamery was presented to the manager of the ' Glen Orouu Dairy Company by Messrs. T. M'Kenziel'.and Keeve urging the manager to open the-"creamery oh September 1 instead of •September IS'.'.'"The deputation pointed out that the milk now ready exceeded the quantity, supplied last season on the opening day, viz., September 13, and that a hardship, was phcwl upuii the suppliers, who had- to run to the next nearest creamery, some six miles away.
