« CO-OPERATIVE BAKERY THAT . WON'T PAY. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. Sydney, August 27. The Broken Hill operative bakers and bread carters have struck work. The trouble has been brought about through the efforts of the combined unions to fix the prico of bread at such an amount as. to enable their co-oporativo bakery to make a profit. They wished' to raise the price from threepence to fourpenco the two-pound loaf, but the masters held out. . The masters are doing as much work its possible. No question of wages or hours is involved.
