HOUSE AT LYTTELTON. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.)
Christchurch, August 25. Tho house at Lyttelton, owned and occupied by Captain Scoullar, and burnt last night, was occupied by Lady Barker in the early days. The building was insured for t6300, and the furniture for ■£150 in the National Office, but the value of the property destroyed is set down 1 ' at £750.
