Miss E. Stewart, of tho Langer Dresscutting School, draws the attention of ladies, to the exhibit of a pupil's work in the Singer sewing-machine shop, Willis Street. The exhibit was made by a pupil during her first term. Tho Langer chart has recently been much improved, and its remarkable simplicity and adaptability to the requirements of prevailing fashions is its distinguishing feature. Ladies are invited to make inquiries at the Langer School 91 Willis Street, whore they can see the working of the system.

Messrs. Scaton and Sladdcn, engineers, invito tenders for the construction of brestwork and reclamation and wharf at Evans Bay.

Tenders, are invited by the Wellington Hospital and Charitable Aid Board, for the supply of a number of articles, particulars of which .appear in this issue.
