MOISTURE IN BUTTER.

Tudor, requesting that effect should not bo given to the following. recommendations of Mr. Lockyer, Coinptrollor-General of Customs:—That the allowance of moisture in butter bo reduced from sixteen to fourteen per centum; and that a trade mark be stamped on tho boxes. Mr. Tudor replied that whatever action (he 'would, take would bo in the interests of the whole of Australia. Ho pointed out that New Zealand butter, which was graded and brought higher prices than Australian.
