LIVELY MEETING EXPECTED.
:ross goldfields. An informal meeting of shareholders of tho Koss Goldfields Company wa« held in the Wellington Stock Exchange yesterday afternoon. Thoro were a number of shareholders from other centres present, and Mr. Grimmond, the chairman, and some of the officials of the company wore also in attendance. The management of the concern was criticised by several of tho speakers, some of , whom were desirous of seeing the whole board of directors •turned out of office. Practically nothing was done at the meeting. Tho meeting to he held this morning promises to bo lively, and there will be a very full'attendance'.' Tho business to bo placed before the meeting is the desirability of securing additional capital by the issue of preference shares or debentures, the removal of tho head office of the company from Hokitika to some other centre as niay be decided by the meeting, and the election of four directors to take the places of those who have resigned. ' ■
