BOY MARKSMEN.
THE ROBERTS TROPHY MATCH. NEW ZEALAND TEAM AT THE BUTTS. Yesterday, the members of the New Zealand representative -rillc team of boy marksmen, who are to uphold the honour of the Dominion in 'the Lord' Roberts trophy match, assembled in Wellington, and after reporting at District Headquarters/ engaged in some useful preliminary practice at Polhill Gully, under Majors Cresswell and Matheson, and Staff Sergeant-Major Rose. There are ten altogether in the team, and from these eight will be selected to shoot-off in the final on Friday next. The conditions of the match and the personnel of the team have already been published - in The Dohiniox. At tho practice yesterday, although several of the lads had not recovered from the effects of ■ their journey, some particularly good scores were made, and it would appear that this year's team is quite up to the' excellent standard of 1900.
