TWO CAMPS OF DOCTORS.
IN A DAMAGES CASE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.! . Dunedin, August.23. The case wherein Louisa Mary Aitcheson is suing James Martin Sampson for £1000 damages for injuries received in a motoroar accident was continued in the Supreme Court, Dnnedin, to-day. The feature of the day's proceedings was tlw evidence of Dr. Stanley Batchelor, Dr. Hunter, Dr. Marshall MT)onald, Dr. Da Lautour,, and Dr. Newlands. who, being divided into two hostile camps, disagreed as to the extent of' plaintiff's : injurias, and the time that it would probably tako her to recover. Mr.' Adams, in support of the applica. tion for a nonsuit, .submitted thai, ihcro had been uo evidence of negligence on the part of the occupants of the car. Ifthero had been any evidence of that nature, it was not the cause of tho accident'. Defendant was not answerable for any negligence in connection with the car. His Honour remarked' that the last point was very important, and Jt might be desirable that it bo moved into, the Court of Appeal. • ' , '
