SEASON A FAILURE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Rec. August 22, 10.5 p.m.) Ottawa, August 22. It is officially stated that tho greater portion of the Labrador coast cod-fishery is a total failure.
Twenty thousand Newfoundland fishermen are affected. Tho cod-fishery on tho Newfoundland coast is also below tho average.
