"ALL HARROW MEN."
OUR GOVERNOE AND OTHERS.. The appointment of Lord Islington as Governor of New Zealand was referred to on last Speech Day at Harrow at tlio headmaster's luncheon (says the "British Australasian"). Dr. Wood, the retiring headmaster, in, responding to the toast of "The School," said the government of the whole world .seemed to be gradually passing into the hands o{ Harrow men. The Colonial Secretary, the Earl of Crewe, was a Harrow man, and so was Colonel Seeley, • Under-Secretary for the Colonies; the Viceroy-elect of India, the Governor-General of Canada, and the Governor of New Zealand, were all Harrow men.
