WATERSIDE WORKERS' CONFERENCE.

(By Teleeraph.-Prejsa Association.. - CfirisJohurch, August 20. At the Waterside.. Workers' Federation Conference, to-day it'was decided to communicate with all the federations and unions of workers, and ask them to co-operate with the Waterside AVorkers' Federation in the matter of getting ono man to advise in disputes, and represent the unions and federations beforo the court. ' The executive of the federation was asked to prepare a scheme to bring the matter above referred to into effect. Another remit agreed to was to the (:ifeot | that the Government should acquiro sites for workers' homes as near as possible to : the wharves, and that the municipal corporations and harbour boards be. empowered to make reserves' for a similar purpose. The conference then adjourned till Monday.
